Conflict Mineral Procurement Policy

The Cashew Co., Ltd. recognizes the serious issues of human rights violations and environmental destruction by armed groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its neighboring countries. As these armed groups are believed to fund their activities through the trade of conflict minerals, we have implemented a policy to remove these conflict minerals to prevent the exacerbation of these issues. We are committed to promoting responsible mineral sourcing by ensuring transparency throughout our supply chain.

Conflict minerals refer to minerals such as gold, tin, tantalum, tungsten, and others, as determined by the U.S. Department of State, that are mined in the listed countries.
